Yes. The standard minimum is 6 months (26 weeks). This keeps the weekly rate low. If you need a shorter hire, talk to us. We can sometimes arrange shorter terms with a slightly higher rate or transport fee. After 6 months you go month-to-month with no lock-in.

The bond is a refundable security deposit. It covers potential damage or unpaid weeks. Return the cabin in good condition and we refund the full $300, usually within a couple of days of pickup.

Most deliveries happen within 3-5 working days of booking. In the New Plymouth area it is often 1-2 days. We confirm the earliest slot when you book and coordinate a time that suits you.

Yes. All cabins are wired for domestic power. Each has interior lighting and at least one double power outlet. We supply a heavy-duty outdoor extension lead with RCD protection. Plug it into a standard 3-pin outlet at your house and the cabin is live. No electrician needed.

Place the cabin anywhere on your property that we can access. Front yard, back yard, driveway, or a corner of a lifestyle block. In most cases no building consent is required because the cabins are under or around 10m2 and are portable. They sit on blocks, not fixed to the ground. We recommend checking with your local council for long-term placements of the 4.8m x 2.4m size.

If a ute with a trailer can reach your property, we can deliver. We need about 3m clear width with no tight turns or low-hanging wires. Slight slopes are fine. We level the cabin with blocks. If you have narrow gates or a steep drive, let us know and we will find a solution. In special cases we use a crane at additional cost. No concrete pad needed.
